Are you applying nipple balm after each feeding? I went to a breastfeeding class and the LC said you should unlatch baby if they are just suckling on the nipple. She called turning off the faucet when are just at the nipple.
Mine did that too, and I thought she was latching good till I saw a consultant and she said it wasn't right and showed me how to do it then they stopped hurting. If it hurts when she first gets on that sounds like latch problem. And my baby cluster feeds like all the time but mine still don't hurt anymore. Not trying to be a know it all just giving my advice :)
If it hurts she isn't latched right. They're supposed to have your whole nipple in their mouth with the nipple mostly towards the back of her mouth so your nipple isn't hitting the hard pallet of her mouth that's what makes it hurt is when they're sucking with the hard pallet of their mouth
hmm at the beginning she was doing great even the nurses at the hospital were surprised how quick she latched on but I guess I introduced the pacifier too soon.. next time she eats I'll try to adjust it. which will provably be soon lol this girl eats so much. Thanks everyone @renaldoswife

Make sure you have a good latch. It may not be correct and that'll cause pain

Ah no I haven't I keep forgetting. she eats so often that I just try to nap right after

she latches on fine they are just sore I guess from her eating so often. It only hurts when she starts. after that its fine.
