I was 35 weeks 5 days when I had my son he weighed 4lbs 5oz my drs theory of why my water broke is because I'm a small person and my utreus was trying to stretch further and didn't have the room to which cause my water bag to break and he never saw the inside of a nicu

@wyatts_mommy_0106, I have this gut feeling I'm going to have a premie.. My baby is healthy and everything but I can't shake the feeling he's going to be here early and I'm so worried about it.. I just don't want him to be in the nciu.. I want him to be healthy and fully developed so I can bring him home. :(

I thought I'd go over my due date I was terrified everyone tried to reassure me but they weren't convincing when I was in labor but his lungs was fully developed and he could breath on his.own the only issues he had was maintaining his.own body temp and.low blood sugar and I couldn't breast feed cause we had to teach him to suck cause that part of the brain was developed yet but stay positive not every preemie has to go.to.nicu we spent 4 days in the hospital but that was a combo of my blood.pressure and random.swelling after birth and his jaundice

I'm so glad he didn't have to stay in the nciu.. I see all these things about their babies spending weeks and months in the nciu and my sister was born three months early and they think that's why she's batshit crazy cause she didn't have any real connection to her mom for the first few months of her life and just. with my first baby I was induced at 36 weeks exactly because I had such bad pre eclampsia and it was harming both me and my daughter. she came out and was 6 lbs even and no issues what so ever. she spent no time away from me and I had her late on a saturday night and we went home that monday morning.

My water broke at 32 weeks didn't have him for 3 days there not sure why it happened and he was in the nicu for a month.
