has anyone else on here been put under a consultant? my first child was very big and I lost lots of blood etc so I'm classed as high risk. Anyone know what's likely to happen at the appointment with the consulant? xx

hiya, I am under consultant care due to have an autoimmune disease and having major abdominal surgery in March. I go monthly but it'll increase towards the end of my pregnancy. The just monitor me and will make a decision about labour and delivery closer to the time. Try not to worry xxx
I have a consultant due to me having low platelets in pregnancy I used to have to go once a month in the beginning of my pregnancy I now go every two weeks to as I'm getting closer to delivery @samdime nothing to worry about though x

They discuss your last pregnancy, and what they will suggest if it was to happen again and safer options such as induction , or c section etc x
