anyone ever had to ask their parent if their S/O, boyfriend, husband, or baby daddy could stay with them until they find a place? I'm currently nervous to ask my dad if my husband can move in until we get our place.

@aimeewhitt, I don't think he would have a problem due to my mother and him used to stay in his mother's basement. I just have been stressed lately because my husband's family won't help him

my dad didn't even care he liked it better that way so he knows we're okay, and they need to help out too.

Me and my husband live with my parents while we get back on our feet. My two kids each have their own room upstairs and we are in the basement. It works out well.

@swtlilangl, well my uncle has the basement room. but I wouldn't mind bringing my bed down there to stay. I just want my husband. My dad has a 4 bedroom 2 1/2 bath home. I just don't want him to say no. plus my husband is trying to bring his life over here and I don't want to bring everything he owns

my husband, then boyfriend, myself and 2 kids had to stay with my parents for a month while our town house was getting ready. I moved out at 17 and this was when I was 27 so it was weird but they loved him so they didn't mind. It was actually kind of fun.
