What are your thoughts about putting cereal in the bottle? My 6 week old can't get enough to eat lately, he constantly wants his bottle and screams till he gets one. I don't want to add much. I was thinking of adding a pinch of cereal to his 3oz bottle. I'm afraid to though, I hear good and bad about doing it. I just can't take another day of constant crying. He's never done this before, even swaddling, cuddling, and music isn't helping. He's not a fan of his binky and will use it once in a while.
Do what you think is best. My son was on cereal in his bottle at that age and he's doing fine. It's all in how you do it. We used a tablespoon of cereal per 3 ounces
My son still gets rice bottles Every now and again I started at 3 months with him and he was on reflux meds as well. I say it up to u try and it and just keep an on his bowel moments to make sure he isn't getting constipated
He's on reflux medication. I don't want to put a ton, just a tiny pinch in his 3 oz bottle. Just enough to fill his belly and help him sleep. He's up every half hour.
we use it for a thickener per hospital/doctor because my son aspirates & has gerd but thats all his doc recommends it for, id talk to a doctor 1st
I have to formula feed, I wasn't producing anymore. And I've upped it but its not helping, his pediatrition said not to feed him more then 4oz..
my son is 2 months. i gave him rice cereal and he's doing fine. its makes him much fuller.
it worked for us, but I only used a little at night, and she was formula fed if that helps you. and her doctor said it was fine since she was a little young to take it from a spoon.,
up his feeding first. hes probably going through a grow spout so he needs the extra milk.
I've never been a fan of cereal in a bottle, but for some mom's it's worked....
The AAP recommends nothing but formula or breastmilk until 6 months old. It can also be a choking hazard in bottles. It's a controversial topic because some moms swear by it but personally I would say if baby is asking for more milk feed more milk, not a filler like cereal. Are you breastfeeding or bottle feeding?
you should ask his doctor first because he could get constipated since he's still too young
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
the amount of women who are clueless about their own anatomy is so sad and shocking. a lot of the women are older than me and have more children then I do 😳
now I understand that everyone has their own opinion on the topic and grown adults can do whatever they want with their bodies but to deny facts and make up false statements about your own anatomy when it comes to your unborn child is just so disappointing.

So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.
Trigger. Lost baby
Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. I'll he delivering him later this week. I don't want to do this. I don't want to do this. Not before Christmas. How am I'm going to tell my kids?? My dear sweet baby boy. Why did this happen?
For Fun
With most of us in a sleep regression or exhausted from being working moms, or just plain bored I figured it would be fun to get a little game started... so who's up for 2 truths and a lie? It's easy.. you post 3 facts about yourself, 2 true and 1 lie and when you guess you post yours here's mine:
the rice cereal will bind the baby up and more then likely make em gassy if ur going to try cereal try the oatmeal cereal my mom says that works best and she has several children and babysits quite a few also
