So I'm not dilated but this coming up Thursday I'll be picking out an induction date. My question is what is the induction process? Especially for someone who isn't dilated at all.

^^thats exactly what happens lol. except they didn't pop my water until after they started the pitocin. I was in labor about 26 hrs all together.

they'll probably start you on cervidil to soften your cervix and see if it'll dialate you at all the day before and then start you on pitocin the next day. usually they'll pop your water first before the pitocin, that's what they did with me.

my water broke they had to induce me I was 1cm dilated tho. but they put a balloon in my cervix to help me dilate then gave me pitcon in my iv my labor was kinda quick.it I was only in.labor.for 14hrs
