Oh god...oh god...why....THIS DID NOT GO AS PLANNED MY HAIR IS ORANGE

I tried dyeing mine at the beginning of my pregnancy, a dark blue/black from a dark brown, it didn't turn out well. it is the hormones. but every pregnancy is different, hormones might not have messed with your hair during the first pregnancy, but it might mess with your hair this pregnancy @lindseymartin

that's odd. I dyed mine at 15 weeks. but different hormones can definitely affect. I've had my hair many different colors and I've had my hair turned orange on me and it actually turned out really pretty once dried. it's just a shock when it first happened but I loved it because it was different

did you use the developer with the dye?

mine held fine I did a dark purple. the black hair could also affect it a little bit. but not to where it would be orange. how far along are you?

your hormones can mess up the color while pregnant. I go with darker because if it didn't stay or hold it would Still be a light purple. sometimes it will change the color or will not hold as well as it's supposed to

I had no dye in my hair prior to this I put it on Virgin hair I put an auburn kit on it @shaunatb

what were you trying to do?

That happened to me once but when I washed it out there was no orange. hopefully your doesn't either lol
