I really hate it when people say "Are you excited"? Like what kind of answer do they expect? I'm a pretty private person and lately I just feel like I'm on display. Yesterday, walking through the mall and seeing countless people looking at my belly had me in tears. I feel violated.

birth and pregnancy are amazing miracles . pregnant women look cute and just knowing they have a life in them makes people feel more sentimental and remember they are living the miracle of life itself, that is why people stare, dont take it the bad way.

@yahuahsdaughter, I'm happy for you that you are comfortable with it. I don't think anyone means anything negative by it. It just makes me uncomfortable. I wasn't like this with all my pregnancies. I'm not sure why the stares bother me now.

i understand though sometimes you dont want people staring at you and just want to be left alone, i have those days. i just ignore them and use my cellphone if i am in the subway or just act like they are not even there.

Birth Plan Rant I used to be all about getting an epidural, but after research and thinking about it more I want to have an unmedicated birth (this is my first baby). What annoys me is when I say that I'm going to TRY my hardest to have a natural and unmedicated birth people always feel the need to say that I'm crazy or that I'm going to change my mind when I get in that position. Or that epidurals are the best. I do realize that plans change, but why can't people be supportive and encouraging?
