who here wants people who are going to be or are around your child or children to have the whooping…

in my state you aren't allowed on the floor with the babies unless you have the shot or booster!! wtf you are doing what's right

I had my wic appointment yesterday and the lady and I were talking about she said that I have to get it in my last trimester and that i should have everyone else that wants to be around the baby get it. but to my sister it isn't right and that I don't need it and others don't need it. she doesn't change my mind about getting it. my boyfriend and I talked about before the appointment.

am paying for my mom and mother in law to get it oh and husband, for me it is a requirement.

they told me I had to get it.

I feel just like my oldest who wasn't even breastfed survived without me having the flu or whooping cough shot my new baby will be fine too I'm not anti vaccination or anything but I feel in a time where medically we are supposed to be evolved why all these extra vaccines. My baby is 6 almost 7 months I got the whooping cough shot but nobody else did in my family that watches her and my baby has sickle cell and that makes her immune system automatically weaker and her docs didn't suggest to have everyone get that. you know medical offices have relationships with pharmaceutical companies so sometimes your doc may push unnecessary medications because they get kickbacks. You're not rude for wanting ppl to have it we all want to protect our babies but it's something ppl are not used to being asked. just try to educate the ppl on why you want them to get it

I'll be getting it and so will every member of our families! I've seen what happens when a baby gets whooping cough and it so not worth the risk! On top of that, by the time my little guy gets to come home, he will have had open heart surgery. So there's no way I'm risking exposing him to anyone who hasn't been properly vaccinated

I wasn't insistent about such things with my first and my daughter ended up being admitted to a children's hospitals at 6wks old with rsv and because she had it so young I was told she would have respiratory issues for a long time...13mo rolls around and guess where we were again? yep, children's hospital for a week in a quarantined room. she will be five on Monday and every year when it starts to get cold and ppl around her get sick we end up with breathing treatments, er trips, and hospital stays. This time with baby brother on due in Feb no one is allowed around him with out all shots possible to prevent spreading something to my kids.

I made parents get it! they had no problems getting it, my bf side wouldn't get it because I was over reacting so we don't go up there as often plus they are always sick and I now hate my mil
