What is everyone's opinion on cosleeping? I was gonna do it but after the baby shower I didn't get a cosleeper bed to have next to mine and there too expensive for me to purchase so I was thinking of just starting her right off in her crib.
I co sleep with my 2.5 yr old. I maintain a healthy sex life and we have gotten a full nights sleep ever since 3 months old.
i had my babygirl sleep with us up untill her second bday...just because her room was way across the house so i decided to move our rooms around and now she sleeps in her room since the first night.
I co slept with my first and will with my second. My daughter, now 14 months sleeps all night in her crib and naps in her crib.
i know to many people who.have co slept with their babies and 4 years later they are still sleeping with mommy and daddy. which is fine if you don't ever want a normal sex life again lol
I always started with a small bassinet next to my bed and moved to their own room when they grow out of it. I've never slept with my kids in my bed, was always worried I wouldn't want to break them from it later and we'll I enjoy my privacy lol
I'm leaning more towards putting her directly in her crib because without a cosleeper next to the bed I wouldn't want her in the bed because me and my fiancé move around way to much and he is such a heavy sleeper I would be so scared of him rolling over
i started my first daughter off in her crib the day she came home from the hospital she is 1 1/2 now and doesn't want to sleep any where but her own bed. it makes things a little easier that I can just go put her in bed with her blankey and she will go right to sleep. Makes me a little sad sometimes though because I miss her being so small and want to take a nap with her sometimes but she won't sleep unless she is in her bed. its more of a plus then anything else even if it makes me sad sometimes lol
we coslept for like 4 or 5 months. she slept either on my chest or sideways with her head on my chest.
we have a bed rail since it's already me, my husband, and my 4 year old son in the bed. The regalo extra long rail has really good Co sleeping reviews and is only about $30 at WalMart. if you have a bargain hunt anywhere around you, I'd look there first cause we got ours for $7.20.
maybe try and go to a once upon a child and see if they have any bassinets there. the one by me had some when I went to get my crib that were decently priced.
I got a snuggle nest which is like a mini bassinet that goes on the bed next to you. It's safer than co-sleeping and the baby will be next to you but it's best to be used for naps and not all night sleeping.

Do these exist and work? My SO is scared of rolling over on baby if we cosleep, but I really want to cosleep.

I love her her name is Tiffany lol
I can't take it anymore! Haley (yes my 1mth old and no I wasn't able to go through this "joy" of nursing my older daughter, Molly) has been screaming non stop for 6hrs! All she wants to do is eat and I can't have her attached to me all day, everyday! She has wanted to eat every hr on the hr for the past 3hrs! I put her in her room so I don't scream at her but I just can't take it!
FTM problems...
So I've made it pretty clear that I want to buy my daughter her fist Halloween costume. Her babysitter/nanny keeps saying she wanted to make her one. I told her yesterday that I wanted to find her something that my SO and I could dress up as a family. So I told her I am going to get it. She just text me and said 'not trying to step on your toes but I bought her two costumes'. She does this all the time. Anytime I want to do the "first" things with her she immediately does it. It...
Afraid to cosleep so I doze off then wake cause I'm scared
I'm going to use a bassinet and put it right next to the bed
