My husband is going through a lot of stress with handling two jobs (consultant for a company and his personal car dealership business). His family is completely against his business and will always bring it up on how he made such a big mistake of opening the business. It's my husband's dream and we both know the first few years will be difficult. I try to stay out of the family drama. How can I help? How do I be more supportive? I can see how depressed my husband is. All he wants is support.

So support him. Tell him that no matter what anyone thinks or says that YOU are on his side. You believe in him and you know it will all work out for the best. He's doing this because it's his dream and nobody has the right to put dreams of others down. Not even family.

@mrsschutte1323, I do support him and try to remind him all the time. I'll keep doing it because I know it makes him happy. I can see that it does. Thank you ❤️ he had a breakdown today because of his mom. I hate seeing him like this

And that is wrong! I would be sooooo mad at any of my parents or parents in law if they ever tried to do that to me or my husband. It's our lives. It's your lives. It's your family. It's your dreams. They have no right to make your husband feel like he's doing something wrong. He's not. He's following his dream and supporting you and your family. If his mother doesn't approve of his life choices that honestly don't really concern her then oh well.

I am going to have a talk with them. I will let them know if they have nothing good to say, then to not say anything at all. It hurts me to see him like this. Thank you for helping me out! I'm going to make some yummy food for him tonight to make him happy!
