I waited until the baby was about a month old before starting to pump because they say to wait until they are 6 weeks to introduce the bottle so it doesn't cause nipple confusion. If the baby only ways on one side then yes pump the other or if the baby nurses on both you can pump both sides after they are done, you won't get a lot but if you did that a few times a day it should make a bottle.

I started pumping when my baby girl was 3 days old because I was getting engorged and since I got matitis with my son I didn't want to risk it and I only breastfeed but I have around 600 oz in freezer daughter just turned 2 months

@princessvictoria, oh holy crap! That's a lot of milk in just 2 months! I want to start pumping sooner than later because I want my husband to be able to feed him while he's still super young!

yeah you can do that it depends on baby's some don't Care between bottle or breast I waited till maybe a weeks ago to try to give her bottle and had no luck she didn't want it lmao 😂. .but my nephew we would give him both by 3 weeks and he had no problem going back and forth ...but I feed my daughter and my so burps her when his home .. I mean it just up to u to have him included I did that because they told me to wait till she was 6 weeks and see what happen..

@princessvictoria, oh gotcha. Well I deff want him to be able to feed our son. So even if I'm pumping for him to bottle feed I'm fine with that also!
