I'll be 30wks tomorrow with baby #2 & I've been dealing with horrible back pain for months now & it just keeps getting worse. I think I have a slipped/herniated disc (bc it's causing my right leg to go numb & it also feels like my butt bone is broke when I sit down). I wanna mention it to my Dr & see what can be done, but I'm so sick of him telling me that everything is "normal" when I know it's not.... It's so frustrating & I'm constantly in so much pain that Idk what to do anymore :/
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
I had chronic back pain prior to pregnancy. Two herniated discs, disc degeneration and a few other issues. I knew pregnancy would irritate it all but had no idea i would be in SO much pain. My midwife and doctor both came to a decision to put me on medication for pain as they believed the benefit outweighed the risk and wanted me to have quality of life. I also use the belly support band, which does sometimes seem to help. I've lived on my heating pad and done tons of stretching. Unfortanutely it's only gotten worse the bigger I get but there are definitely options. I would definitely talk to your doctor, and even if it is something he considers "normal" pregnancy issues, doesn't mean there is nothing that can be done. hope you feel better
