ladies i need help!
I'm a bar maid with shitty hours, my boss knows I don't want to work Friday night Saturday night but keep doing it and she knows im pregnant (she's also a dick)... and it's killing me. I'm so tired drained I don't sleep till 4 in the morning weekends and I worked last night and working now and barley slept a wink last night! My other half also has a 3 year old so as you can imagine I'm up early... all I want to do is quit my job because I just can't cope.
depression and anxiety is getting the better of me just because of my job!
help what do I do xxx

Fuck this ,just quit ! U cannot work night shifts when u pregnant anyway by the law !!! Is it official job ? Get a letter from the midwife that u can't do it xx

you can ask to have a change in hours as your right if the do nothing speak to you HR or higher up xx

yeah they are obliged to give u more sociable hours if it's affecting your pregnancy. either that or go on sick.....u can stay on sick until u have had baby and your employer can't do anything about if if Dr writes on ur note that it's pregnancy related xx

Yeah I've been told at my work that if I was asked to do nights I can't do them coz apparently by uk law they are not allowed to ask pregnant woman to do night shifts xx @sheffield94446

@sheffield94446, I'm a barmaid too bird, luckily mine has been pretty understanding but I did read up before I told them just in case things got a bit funny. But they can't make you do any shifts that you can't do, especially if you/midwife thinks it's effecting you or baby. Not good for either of you the stress, it's bad enough being behind the bar and dealing with drunks let alone not having your employers behind you. Hope you get it sorted bird xx

She's being a dick... i say I don't want to work so she cuts my shifts.... don't understand her.. I just want a way out of there.... I want to work though.... don't see how I can carry on if there making my life hell!!
