Sorry I'm going to rant about the national health system. So my baby was apparently checked for tongue tie by the hospital & then again by every midwife visit and health visitor check. I eventually got him diagnosed by a lactation specialist... A thing I had to go out and do myself! So I ask to get a referral to get it divided. Just got a call from the breast feeding consultant to say that the lady who cuts the tongue from ages 6-12 weeks is on holiday but the lady who cuts 0-6 weeks is there. Can't go to her though for some reason. The lady who is on holiday won't be back until December by then Max will be 13 weeks old & apparently they do not cut past that age! She's referred me to Kings hospital in London which is an hour trip there for a 2 second procedure... Now they are saying he can't be seen until 4-6 weeks but by then he will be too old!
My poor baby can't feed properly because of his tie yet the nhs service think it's fine to let him wait/ potentially not do it at all! The only other option is to go private which costs over £200... I only get paid £500 a month maternity! I'm on the verge of suing the hospital for compensation! Gah! Sorry ladies for the rant! 😡
oh don't get me started on NHS! they nearly killed my son! Google rochdale online/james vaughan I posted an article due to the shocking care! xx
Oakley is having his tongue tie cut tomorrow 😩😩😩 making me feel very nervous 😟 my poor baby xx
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...

Before u become pregnant think of this
Do I want to be uncomfortable as hell for 40-42 weeks?
Do I want to be in horrible pain for up to 14-16 hours even longer
Can I handle pushing a big ass head through my vagina
Can I handle this with no pain meds(sometimes u can't make it in time)
Do I want to go to the hospital 10x before I'm actually in labor.
Because inducing your labor at 32-37 weeks for your own selfish needs or getting a csection to do it the "easy" way is just plain selfish and FYI a...

I can't wait to go home Tommorrow , I hate hospitals 😒😏😕
if my blood pressure doesn't drop and stay the same and I go to the hospital & they can't control it , is it possible I can go into labor
@laa286, just read the article!! That's shocking! I hate the fact the hospital wrote a statement saying you can contact them to discuss things further! What's there to discuss? What a joke! I'm glad James is all good now. 💙 xx
