I'm a first time mom due in April and I have a couple questions for you mamas out there.. One is how do you know what kind of formula to buy? I am gonna breast feed but I want to have some formula on hand just In case. And also what size diapers and how many boxes do u need before baby is here so you're ready? I've only gotten one giant box of newborn pamper swaddlers so far. How long do babies wear NB before they go to size 1? I just don't wanna buy too many.

If you are breastfeeding I would recommend the kind that is specifically for supplementing. Similac makes one. Then as for diapers, I had two boxes of the swaddlers. And by the time those were out my baby was in size ones. He's now two months and is in size 2. But I also have a very chubby baby. He was 8.14 at birth. And as for how many boxes, I would get two of each for right now. You never know how fast baby will grow. :)

Oh okay awesome I didn't know that. But just in case I want to have some on hand because I've read alot and I've read that some babies won't breast feed.

Yes those were the first kind I used. I loved them! And if you don't end up breastfeeding, you would need to switch to a complete nutrition formula, such as similac complete nutrition. That's what I used until we discover my baby is lactose intolerant. But only use that if you are exclusively formula feeding, not just supplementing.

sign up for enfilmi idk how to spell it we bf. they should send you some samples to have on hand just in case that's what we did. as for diapers my daughter never wore newborns. we started right in 1s. I'd get 2 or 3 boxes of 1s. 2s we kind of skipped like I went through one small box we buy in bulk so it's hard. and she's in 3s at 5 months we might be going up to 4s after thisnbox

That's what my sister said she did with my Neice she never used newborn she said she used size 1 and folded them down that's why I'm wondering because I don't wanna buy too many and waste money and then have her only use NB for a short time. I did sign up for emfamil they didn't send me anything yet tho. Maybe they send it closer to your due date?

And I looked up quiet a few reviews on swaddlers and they were all good that's why I went with them! I think pampers are the best from what I've heard. And I'm hoping I get to breast feed but just in case.
