Personally I find this idea stupid. Yes vaccinations are important, but why blame the kid for the parents mistake of not vaccinating? If the parents can't afford the care because insurance doesn't cover it and the child dies from it, how is that helpful? Sorry but just had to put my foot down on this. Not to mention the parents are still paying into insurance so they might as well use what they are already paying for. Personally I plan on vaccinating but this is just mean in my opinion.
@cmbwalker, I'm sorry I'm confused? Who is blaming the kid for anything??? I interpreted this to mean that people who don't vaccinate (when their doctors suggest it and insurance covers it) their children should then the parents should have to pay out of pocket for the treatment of the thing the vaccine would have very easily prevented?
This is like saying that if you do vaccinate and it hurts the child insurance shouldn't pay because it's the parents fault for taking the risk. It's up to the parent and no one should be punished for doing what they think is best. Wow.
But if the parent can't afford the care for that disease because the insurance doesn't cover it, then the child is the one that suffers...I get what you mean by the parent suffering too but you have to consider that there are multiple sides to it. All I'm saying is this picture is very naive and inconsiderate of the child who might not get the care they need because insurance wouldn't cover it.
If you do vaccinate and it hurts your child the insurance SHOULD pay for it. If you don't vaccinate after your doctor says you should would it prevents diseases and stuff that can kill your child then the parents should have to pay out of pocket and not make the insurance pay for it. If they are going to ignore their doctors suggestions then they should have to pay for the treatment. The doctors are trained to know what's best. And are very often proven right. @cmbwalker @swtlilangl that's all I'm saying. It's my opinion.
some people dont believe in that though i disagree with the photo , an not to long ago i seen a post an a guy said he asked his friend what it was in a vaccine shot an his friend told him he honestly did not know he is just orderd to say the name of the vaccine an give it to ppl an even when you get the shot some people get the disease because of the shot it hasent happened to me but it has happened to other people.
