Would it be okay to put regular Vicks on my daughters feet? Her nose is so stuffed up its horrible!! Also can I use the build syringe to suck the mucus out of the back of her throat?

I got told my many people and a nurse not to use regular Vicks because the mental is too strong for them along with their body?
