So Yesterday was such an emotional day I can't stop thinking about it my man younger brother which is 18 got caught trafficking over 3 illegals :'( were are currently waiting to find out his charges the sad part is hearing my man cry soo bad I never heard him like that. it made me so sad I teared up. We just know its not going to be good for his brother since he was driving. it makes me sad he won't see the twins he was always so excited for the babies and always asked how they are doing. he was like a brother to me. he always asked me for advice , I was always there for the kid. ... you know poor young man hes a dumbass but he could of made a better choice getting money :'( .. I pray they release him its his first time offense..
any one knows what changes he can get.

My ex used to do that and one of his buddies got caught but he was just deported but that was years ago... Another one got caught and he was a citizen he has a felony on his record and did 5 years but this was the border of Mexico and Texas... Not sure what the punishment is today and if you are in Cali may be different

Yes I believe that is going to help a lot but it will still be a felony on his record :( when it's fed time you used to have to do the entire time but now it's 85% so that helps... Sorry you're dealing with this. I understand the temptation my ex was making $5k-$8k a trip (even more if you are dropping goods off in Mexico for the families) and he did it for years and was illegal but never got caught... It's a lot harder these days

You're welcome. It sucks but hopefully with the fact he is young and no priors will help but they are so strict these days. I wish you guys could have talked him out of it. I hope things settle quickly... Try to relax at this point the only thing any of you can do is be there to support him and hire him a good lawyer
