i agree with @mrsschutte1323 my auntie went into labor twice with out knowing had one cousin in a cab and one in the hospital elevator , but for the most part they say it feels worser then a menstral period.

For me they felt like a squeeze-crush-stab...and as it got closer to time for pushing, it was extreme pressure-squeeze.

Okay a lot of women are gonna say "you'll know!" But that's NOT always the case. A lot of women go into labor and don't know about it and just happen to be seeing their doctor and end up having the baby that day. So if anything feels off.. Weird intense back pain or pain by your ribs or just anything off I suggest calling your doctor. They are paid to be there for you so don't be shy about calling :)
