it's gonna depend on how big he or she is... my daughter was 8pds 12 Oz and she was in newborn for about a month or so... then she kinda blew up from there she was a chunker!
My daughter is just bearly growing out of her jammys with footies on the cause she's to long but her onsies still fit and she's almost 2 months old she weights a little over 10 pounds .. The 0-3 outfits are still to big

my daughter was 4.6 at birth and newborn clothes probably fit her for close to 3 months. so it definitely depends on the size and length of baby:)
