Are you sure you want to go that route? Pitocin is a drug and it causes extreme contractions... it's not likely you will be able to handle it without an epi, especially if you haven't been preparing for a natural birth.

I'm past my due date and trying natural methods. I'll be going up to 42 weeks before I get induced as long as everything is okay.

i wouldnt chose to induce labor if i was you. and i know how bad it can be. im already contracting at 31 weeks. i have induction and it was very painful. hope its not for u if u go that route

Well I don't want to go past 41 weeks cause of the complications associated with going all the way to 42, The only reason I'm doing is so early is because Friday was the only day they had open because it's Friday the 13 so people trip out on that. I've been planning on doing natural birth.. I'm already dialated to a 6 1/2 but baby is at a -3 and doesn't want to drop. I guess I've been having contractions.. I just haven't felt them, I have a very high pain tolerance.. I didn't want to have to be induced or anything, I would wait till next week for an apt but like I said they have nothing available. @mamalamadingdong @yummycake

ok i got u. thats sucks. well ur already half way through and u got no pain....sooo lucky. u may be the lucky girl to not feel too bad during the process u already beating the odds.lol good luck girl. update on how it goes for u. :)

i was five dilation with pitocin and the epidural and i was dying of the pain already...lol...so u being already a six naturally makes me. feel u will be doing great. hugz.
