@braylinsmommy, no like they weren't gonna give me one at all. The supervisor told me I couldn't even go out 2 weeks before I had the baby.

And I'm high risk and im on the progesterone shots to keep me from going into labor and next week is my last shot so after that there is nothing stopping me and I've been stuck at work twice having contractions back to back because no one would come in and ended up going to the hospital after work and had to have them give me meds to stop the contractions

I just wouldn't go in if you don't want to. My dr won't give me a note for maternity leave until I "have the baby" (BS) but I planned on working one more week. My boss made me mad so I told him today I'm taking leave starting Wednesday after he already made the schedule & he's on vacation next week.

They've been treating me like I should still be doing all the physical labor that I can't do anymore. IDK why Dr's say that. It was actually a nurse who told me that because my dr told me to take leave when I got uncomfortable. How do you tell someone that but not give them a note?!

I say take the maternity leave before you quit. And make sure you have another job lined up

@laprecious, they wouldn't even go through with firing me today and when she told me I was probably gonna get fired I was like "ok that's fine" and then she text me with the bs to just finish this week out and go on maternity leave. I think that's what they are thinking too bc they always let everyone quick or treat you like shit til you quit so they don't have to fire you

@shortiebs, the thing is they'll let me take the leave but then put it down like I quit so they won't have to pay out. Bc that's how they do I've seen them do others the same way.

I'm using 2 weeks paid vacation anyways. My boss was mad about me leaving a week earlier than I had originally planned but he can't say much. I've been there almost 5 years & never missed work for anything.

Lol i moved cause my husband got relocated with the military. So i filed for unemployment and my job just had to confirm that it was because of a military move. @rhonda.otero

Yea it was a smooth process for me. Every state is different. They call and interview u and the employer for an investigation so if your claims match up its simple. @rhonda.otero
