I'm a breastfeeding mom and I have a severe cold starting that I'm afraid will progress into something worse if I don't take anything for it. I have a scratchy throat that's getting sore as well as a bad cough. What can I take for it so that I can stop it before it gets worse, and what measures should I take to keep my one month old from catching whatever I have?
