Don't pump & wrap them tight

Tight wraps, ice packs help. Will hurt like a bitch for about a week then should subside. Keep them away from hot water in the shower that will just engorge you and cause more pain.

I am formula feeding and do not pump and this may sound crazy but you can put cabbage in your bra and it helps dry you up.

I personally did a lot of heat to keep the milk for getting lumped up. Also do a lot of massaging to get lumps out to prevent mastitis it's hurts bad but it will get better.

I wore a semi tight bra, sports bra, with breast pads for leaking, and took ibuprofen or you can use any antiinflammatory, every 4 hours. Don't pump or express any milk, mine dried up within 3-4 days.

I've never breast fed, it's just not for me. That being said, I never pumped either because that just causes you to keep producing. like @their.bomb.ass.mom said, tight bra, breast pads and meds! should clear up in no time.

At the hospital, I had tried asking a nurse about it because after trying and trying I made my choice, and she kind of blew me off and was rude about it and kept telling me to breastfeed. yeah they do that. I'm firm from the start, but this will be baby #4, do I straight tell them I know what I want, don't push me, thanks. lol I have straight a kids, so they've turned our just fine, I don't like the pushy shit lol
