It's hard to sleep some nights when he has to be on ny chest but my son has panic attacks because I've never left him so he doesn't understand when we just let him cry or when we leave hin. we always hold him and give him all of our attention, some people call it spoiling them. me and my son have a great relationship because of us cosleeping and me not letting him cry it out. he was never swaddled either. he honestly sleeps in a diaper with his own little blanket. so we don't do the cry it out method and he gets put to sleep at around 8:30 or 9 and I be sure to give him a lot of kisses and cuddles right before bed. but I'm not like most young people, me and his dad do spank him when he does wrong being as time out is out of the question and he's very head strong and wants it his way.

@ryans_mommy14 I have a projecter one that plays heartbeat sounds and other stuff lol. it don't really work with her

@lp1988727.. my mom will come in my room in the morning and take her off of my chest and put her in her bed and it makes me mad because she will wake up and I will she always does it every morning. she don't even like her going to her dads house she don't like me going over there. like me and him are not together we are making it work for alaina.. I always tell her she is my kid and she keeps doing it

I feel bad doing the cry it out method. but my doctor said to try it also. I don't want to but if that's what I have to do I will but I want to try other things first that will be the last thing I do @prestonsmommy

as newborns it's scary to cosleep, in my opinion. I only started with my first born because at 5 day's old he stsrted choking, gaging and the milk started coming out of his noise so me being 16 yo at the time I freaked the hell out. Called the ambulance for that incident. So since that day on he slept with me

Preston refuses to even look at his bed. he screams the entire time hid bed is next to mine and he is able to see it. I do not believe in the cry it out method at all. he used to have to sleep on my chest and I started rocking him and then when we went to get into our bed with his dad I'd lay him close to me and he'd sleep like that. he's 13 months old now and still sleeps with me and still sleeps on my arm and if he isn't he's awake hunting it and screaming. I just learned to sleep in order to ocommidate him.

@Lp1988727, put blankets on the side of her, or maybe a stuffed animal, we put Ryan in his crib when he was 3 months and he's slept in there ever since, he comes to our bed at 5:45 or 6 am

when I get her crib I'm going to just make her sleep in there because it scares me sleeping with her. @mrsruvalcaba

I did 10 yrs!! with my first born! yes I know extreme but I was a single mom at the time! with my second he loved his crib but when I got preggers with the third it all went down hill.... so I cosleep now but planning on getting him his own bed soon since baby girl loves his crib- she took over lol

yeah that's what my daughter does! I want her to just cry it out but I have other people in the house and I don't want to wake them up. and me and her dad don't live in the same house so I don't have that extra help.... @lp1988727

@lyssa577, if you want her to sleep in her crib swaddle her a little snug and lay her down when she's dosing off to sleep and play lullaby music

well the thing is I don't want to because I don't sleep good (I'm a belly sleeper) and she wasn't to lay on my chest so I get like zero sleep @prestonsmommy @lp1988727
