when do you start taking breast feeding classes, tour the hospital, and the other classes offered?

your doctor should tell you in third trimester when to tour the hospital an i think you can take breast feeding classes at anytime you just gotta find out the days they do it, i did both once i hit 3rd trimester.

ok thanks! @braylinsmommy I have alot of time still but my schedule fills up so fast I want to make sure I have time to go to some.

my midwife has told me about a bunch of classes, around 30 weeks is when she started telling me about them! and if you don't take a class, they will have someone at the hospital to show you how to breastfeed and everything.

if you want you can call L&D an ask them when do they do the tours an they will tell you the day an time you can go , most people's doctors dont tell them about that .

I toured my hospital at 12 weeks because if I didn't like it I wanted the opportunity to switch to an OB at another hospital (I'm new to this state) there they will give you all the information on classes... I would wait to take a breast feeding class closer to just so I didn't forget any information but if you choose to take one right away they always have a lactation consultant in the hospital to come help and give you a quick refresher course
