Babies NEED tummy time! At 11 months old, this little cutie should have a nicely rounded head, developed S curves in his neck and low back, and flexible legs that move in and out of various sitting positions. But, largely due to lack of time on his tummy and overuse of "baby containers" he has positional plagiocephaly (flat skull) a big ol' C curve in his spine preventing him from getting on hands and knees to crawl, and hips and legs so tight he can't even straighten his knees! And these are only the outwardly visible problems...too much pressure on baby's spine and vision centers of the brain from lying on their backs are detrimental to development! So....tummy time, tummy time, tummy time! Do it!

Мама двоих (младенец)

Preach, we are struggling with this as Alaura was to physically sick to do correct tummy time, at almost 8 months she can't handle more then 10 minutes every few hours. it shows! it also plays a factor in her delayed development, TUMMY TIME IS IMPORTANT! 💕

Мама двоих (1 год, 4 года)

I started tummy time with my little one when his cord fell off..he was like 3 weeks old. we only did it until he couldn't stand it anymore but we did it every few hours and just kept at it. they hate it but it's super important to just keep trying. eventually he didn't mind and then he learned to roll.
