kind of a tmi question i guess, but any ladies have nipple rings and breast feed successfully? i know ill probably have to take them out but how long before she's here? is it impossible to feed with the rings in (barbells)?

Baby won't be able to latch properly or get proper suction and it will hurt both of you to leave in. They don't close easily, I had mine for several months, out for a while, back in and out when I BF my daughter and that was a year ago. Holes are still there. If they are healed all the way, they won't close up. The gauge may get smaller. But no issues actually bf'ing with them out. Doesn't affect milk flow at all.
no its a barbell. i just have to unscrew the ball on one side. ive changed them a few times.

Do your just pop out? @mummyshipley I was trying to unscrew mine for like two days and finally googled the process and found that some of them just pop out.
lol i don't think they ever really close one my friends had hers done and she took them out before she had the baby and after she could squeeze her boob and milk came outta all 3 holes in her nips lol that was also a year later lol. outta both boobs lol
