Alright Momma's. I have a question! My (3 weeks shy of) 5 year old asked me if he can get his ears…

Did he say why? If he asked more than once for a period of time I would say yes...its something he can take out if he grows out of it.

He "wants to wear earrings cuz they're pretty". I'm on the fence about. But leaning more towards no! I want him to fully understand the whole cleaning thing...

you should ask him why. but if he really wants it might as well(: my hubby has one ear pierced.

My MIL pierced my husbands ears at 5 against his will...He just has them out. I didn't get mine done until 8 years. You could just say he needs to be a specific age before you will let him get them done...it almost sounds like he wants them to copy you only.

I don't wear earrings due to being allergic to most the stuff out there. :-/

That's the main reason I'm on the fence about it!!
