does anybody know if its safe to get a tattoo while breastfeeding? I want to get an ankle tattoo for my Xmas present from my boyfriend.

My friend got a small tattoo last week. It probably took less then 20 mins at the most!! And she’s 26weeks pregnant. She posted her new tattoo on fb and keep getting hate comments on being a horrible mom that doesn’t care if she’s pregnant. This is ridiculous!!! She deleted the post and people still are talking about it on Facebook. PEOPLE GETTING A TATTOO DOESNT AFFECT YOUR BABY AT ALL!! Especially when it’s below the knee and not anywhere near or around the belly... get this through your heads and stop shaming and disrespect a mom. Get your facts straight and even then mind your own dam business!!
Arranging a time to get my tattoo done. Getting my sons footprint on my arm. Excited. 😁 Will be first tattoo. What does it feel like? I'd like to know what I'm getting into haha.

Tattoo shops don't ask about breast feeding that not they're business they just won't tat pregnant women but after you have the baby it's all up to you

i wouldn't. and i think you will have to find a shop that does (most ask i think) because there's still a risk of infection. just my opinion.
