how long did your newborns skin peel for? ugh this is soooo Annoying I put lotion and Vaseline on him and within a few hours he's back to peeling like a damn snake shedding Lmfao...

the lotion and Vaseline is probably making it worse. Newborns skin have so many oils that it must regulate on its own. The hormones are all wonky, but adding lotion and other topicals will only confuse the skin. Just let the skin run its own course, and it should regulate soon(:
