ughhh. just brought my newborn home from the very sterile nicu and of course my 2 year old comes down with a cold AND hubby has laryngitis. tf??! 😣😩😱 sooooo scared he is gonna catch it. 😢
exactly!!! they noticed his breathing was labored and ordered xrays. he also tested negative for infection. I cried so much. and it does seem like forever doesn't it? it was heartbreaking. the worst part was that he had to be shipped to another hospital on another island since the hospital where I live wasn't equipped to treat him and I couldn't go with him since I wasn't discharged yet
I had to wait three days to be with him 😢😩
Omg my little woman had the same problem ! She was 34.6 weeks spent 6 hours in the big girl nursery then they saw her breathing began to increase so they took x rays and she had fluid in her chest and air outside her lungs and because her bag was ruptured was at high risk for newborn infection thank god she didn't have the infection she was there for a week and a day . To the world it seems not very long but to a mommy it seems FOREVER ! I remember I cried every time I left the hospital everytime I went to bed or woke up ! But in the long run I saw it was for her best and she's doing GREAT now but she was a tiny little woman 5lbs 7 ounces
almost a week. @fifismommy he had fluid in his lungs and air in his chest outside his lungs. plus some air in his stomach. but doing great now. was your little one in nicu?
