So this post might be a little too much information ( Here's your TMI warning) but I am 31 weeks and 2 days pregnant and I strongly believe that my mucus plug is thinning. Has anyone else experienced this that can give me and little insight as to what it's like and what the symptoms are? I am, of course, still going to discuss it with my OB but I am just curious If I am even close to being right.

I've been loosing mine for a few weeks. I turned 33 weeks today. I've been having cramping and contractions and was in preterm labor at 28 weeks. I've also had lots of gooey clear discharge. I thought my water broke but the Dr said my mucus plug heated up and dissolved into liquid and that's what came out. also had chunks that looked like this

See, mine hasn't been so stringy, and not blood tinged either. Some days I just have a lot more discharge than others but the discharge is thicker than normal. It is also tinged yellow so of course I was worried about a yeast infection, but the last time they took my urine they said everything was good. I have had increased cramping and those are the days that my discharge has been more so. I'm just not sure what's going on.
