What's the point of putting "adults only" on your baby shower invitations when they all call you the day before saying they can't come unless they bring their rowdy child. So annoyed right now.

at least u put it on invite. my MIL expected everyone to read her mind and then was in a pissy mood my whole shower even tho no one brought their kid anyways but just that they asked her

That happened at my wedding. I only had the kids that were in the wedding and everyone was mad but it was either no kids or like 20. No thanks

@kmelton12, my sister made it perfectly clear no children at my shower brunch. Although few asked when they rsvp'd but she sweetly said no. It's being catered with no kids meal. Don't get me wrong we love children but some kids get bored and a little unruly and want to have a fun time without the hassle of cranky kids.
