I give her tylonal but not a lot because I'm afraid she'll get addicted. I'm making her some breastmilk icicles to suck on and hopefully sooth her gums.
The issue is that it can numb their throat and make their gag reflex weaker and they could choke on their own spit. I have a 16mo with 12 teeth and haven't ever used Orajel. Just hylands teething tabs, her amber necklace, and baby Tylenol.

ok! I'd read it can numb their throat and make breathing hard so IV been sceptical about using it but shes having such a hard time now

if applied properly I don't see the problem. I've always used baby orajel, the night time version
