Does anyone have trouble getting their 2 month old to be more than 2 hours between each feeding? The only time I can get her to go longer is when I first put her to bed at night. She'll sleep for about 5 hours then she's up every two again. How can I get her to go longer between each feeding.
My daughter slept more often when I nursed her at night. When I was away from home for a night or so and we had to bottle feed her breast milk she was up every 30 minutes to and hour. I co-slept and eventually she knew where the milky was and got it at her convince at night time. It's much easier and you both get more sleep!
I personally would bottle feed at night and he would sleep a lot longer and then breastfeed during the day
It might be because she eats off you so maybe she falls asleep before she is full. But two months is pretty normal to me.
that's why she wakes up so often my son was 6 months old still waking up every 2 hours at night like he'd sleep one long stretch then wake up & every 2-3 hours from then his doctor told me he should be going longer at 6 months but he adjusted him self like now he wakes up every 4 maybe every 5 as she gets older it'll get better she'll start sleeping longer through the night on her own
I tried that to. She only gets louder the longer you try to let her CIO. I do it after I've just fed her and changed her diaper.
Yeah I tried the binky to. but she's never liked it much to begin with. my pediatrician said she should be eating every 3 to 4 hours. I just can't get her to go me than 2.
Not much u can do when theyr that little you can try a bed routine bt since she sleeps 5hrs straight then i dnt think there is much my daughter is almost 4mnths n still does it. So if it continues till shes 5mnths then i will def probobly try the CIO method
I'm in the same boat. He eats every 2 hrs during the day and has one long 5-6 hour stretch at night then wakes every 3 til he's up for the day around 9. My ped said he should still be eating every 2-3 hrs and those hours will stretch when baby is ready. But I've tried giving him his pacifier after his first 3 hour stretch instead of bottle and sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't! You could try adding half an ounce or an ounce to every feeding during the day so he doesn't eat as much at night. Good luck!
nursing on demand is best. Shell cluster fed at a about this age due to a growth spurt coming. it happens about every 3 months
