A question for breastfeeding mommies! How did you handle your baby's first tooth? Did it hurt when…

It kind of felt funny at first and then I got used to it after a while unless my daughter bit me that was the only time it hurt. I Breastfed until she was 17 months of and had 7 teeth. I stopped because she started over nights with her real father.

I have a 16mo who cut her first two teeth at 7mo. Now she has 12 (I still bf) lol Anyways, it's not as bad as you expect it to be. Whenever they accidentally (or intentionally) bite, unlatch, then make them relatch. They learn fairly quickly not to do it or their dinner will be interrupted! My dd rarely bites because of this. Usually when she bites she gets kicked off now lol But yeah, it hurts when it happens, but they learn quickly and it doesn't happen as often.

She's only 6 months now. I hope to continue to 2.5. When did your baby get her first tooth? @shelbyroberson

heyy ladies. I'm not gonna lie it did hurt a little bit but not wasn't that bad. it's a weird feeling cause my son's teeth they was he latched after his first tooth the tooth kinda scratched my nipple. but then I realized he wasn't latched right. the thing I had the hardest time with was when he would bite me. when he would do that I would just unlatch him and tell him that wasn't nice and that hurt mommy. and he learned pretty fast that if he bit me he wouldn't get anymore milk from mommy

My son is 4 months and has 2 teeth, it only hurts when he purposely bites (gets frustrated) which isn't often but it doesnt hurt too bad :)

5 months and it was her two bottom teeth. @junesmommy15
