stay positive!! PPD is a very scary realization but staying happy and positive during your pregnancy helps subside it a little bit after. If you do have PPD, always use your support system. have people you can turn to and talk, even if it's this app. Never bottle up your emotions and anything you're feeling. You are never alone!
Well I wouldn't recommend taking prescriptions while you're pregnant but you can ask your doctor to prescribe you something after you have the baby just tell them you have a history of depression if that's the case and you don't want to get post partum depression
I don't have a history of depression. I just feel like I'm getting there . I feel down all the time I feel helpless and hopeless , I'm eating a lot . so it's scary to feel that way @chas @boogersbugsanddirt thank you I will try
When I first found out I was pregnant I went through a bad depression. I cried everyday me and my husband fought all the time cause I was always upset about something. I pretty much thought to myself "my life is over I don't want this baby I don't want to be married and I'm just going to have to pretend to be happy in this situation forever I ruined my life" but some how around 20 weeks it just went away and I don't feel like that anymore thank god because I was so miserable but my family worrys I might get ppd sense I went through that
at least you are married and you have a man that loves you and is sticking by you . I don't have that . he disowned me , his daughter and this baby . I'm literally by myself . he treats me like shit . he damaged my personal property and he smoked around me called me names , like I'm just over it @elenasmommy
