is it normal for a 1 week old to sleep like ALLLL day??? I mean she wakes up throughout the day... but I feels she just goes right back to sleep... then wants to be up ALLL night.. like she's sleeping as I'm writing this (Ftm)

During the day I made sure she woke up every 2-3 hrs and that helped a lot. Most times she would only stay awake for 30 mins at the most but as she got older the time between naps became longer. She's almost 3 months now and sometimes she will stay up for 2hrs at a time
yea my daughter was born at night and was bright eyed from the time she came out until early in the morning. should I try waking her up after she's slept for a certain length of time? @santistevanmommie
Also she's only a week old so they sleep a lot
I've been having the blinds open during the day... buy she'll still fall right to sleep... I try and like sit her up, but if she's ready to go to sleep its like nothing I can do @aek91
Make sure when she naps it's light in the room. My daughter was born at night so she was like that but now she sleeps most the night even if she sleeps a lot during the day
try to keep her up longer during the day make sure she's not in the dark during the day & at night makes sure its dark in the room maybe start a bedtime routine

is it wrong to be frustrated that my daughter acts like she can't do certain things with out my help. she plays dumb a lot and I wish I could be like no girl show what you know. she acts like she can't trace or match shapes so shes ask for "mommy finger" to help her so I barely hold her hand and she magically can do it but if I dont hold her hand she just scribbles and acts like she doesnt know
the pic is how she traces when I'm "helping her" otherwise it'll just be scribbles all over the page
So nyla has slept like almost all day yesterday and today and she hasnt been feeding as much and when she does seems like its not to long and she right back to sleep and im afraid my milk supply is going down... What do i do?

It's been over 12 hours. She hasn't woke up! Not once! She used to sleep like this but not lately. I actually woke up concerned, once I saw what time it is. She's ok, I saw her moving, but I'm like, "Huh?" Lol
ok! I'm gonna try to wake her up every few hours and see how that works... I'm gonna start tomorrow, today is kinda a lost cause lol @santistevanmommie
