honestly, it was pretty tough for me. I had a hard time because of the pain but ince he was out my body felt like heaven. All Im going to say is breath thru the pain and dont give in to the epidural. And always keep in mind that you are capable to do all pf it natural unless told otherwise by doctors :) @royalmommy
I took a natural birthing class that was super helpful. I also told the nurses that I didn't want any pain meds and that if I decided I did I would tell them. They never asked which was nice because I could have caved lol. I labored a lot in the shower and slow dancing/swaying while leaning on my hubby. Being able to be in any position that made me comfortable helped me so much. I wasn't just restricted to just the bed.
I've always had the mindset of pain being temporary. Honestly, a lot of women say labor pain is something you never forget, but once I had my little boy in my arms, I forgot the pain and agony I went through. Positive thoughts, breathing, and talking through it helped. Every time a contraction came, I told myself the pain is only temporary and just a little bit longer my blessing will be in my arms.
I honestly believe it's about having positive thoughts. My ex husbands hand was nice to hold to, so that way I could squeeze if I needed to.
you're welcome. if you need any advice, just let me know. I had an epidural with one and the second pregnancy was unintentionally natural but I think I would do it again.
Thank you, with my 1st I had an epidural also n I wasnt even in pain I just couldn't relax n prob some anxiety. So I'm trying my best to go all natural this time @boogersbugsanddirt
if you want to do natural, look in to hypnobirthing. i think you definitely need a plan on how you're gonna to deal with the pain and hypnobirthing is one way to do that.
