How many moms have had the Group B Strep test?? what should I expect?? And if its + what do I need to prepare for? My Dr gave me no info on the test or anything.

the group b test is just a swab of the vjayjay and the rectum. if you are positive for it all they do is give u antibiotics when u are in labor so the baby don't get it when u deliver

no it isn't anything major they just wanna know if you have it cause they don't want the baby to get it during delivery

I had it done with both of my previous pregnancy it is awkward but needs to be done its not a big deal If you have I I had it with one child and didn't with the other they just give u some meds in iv while you are in labor.
