Yes, but only with a baby who drinks formula. A doctor told me that no matter what, you can't over feed a baby that breast feeds because your body knows exactly how much they need. But formula feeding is different, and you can absolutely over feed them. Baby's will always drink whatever you put in their mouth, even if they're not hungry

Breastfed babies can be over fed too! My sons doctor made me go longer between feeding at night because he was gaining to much weight to fast.
