we had a check-up today, baby girls heartbeat great at 154!! no complaints other than leg pain at night once im in bed. bp was good, i have declined the flu shot three times but my dr finally told me the risk of my having a flare compared to baby girl and i catching the flu was minimal since my lupus was not active. so i took the shot, i hope and pray shes right. id rather protect her and bare a flare if i have to.

Flu shot is necessary?? I took my son to his new pediatrician yesterday. I loved her! Except for one thing. She said to go back in 4 months so my son gets his flu shot. I told her we don't get the flu shot and she said he has to because I'm having a baby soon and that's what's best. Really? He got the tdap and I'm getting the tdap in two weeks but is the flu shot really necessary? I've always been against getting it. What are your thoughts?
