feeling a little discouraged ... I had an awe moment this morning when I was laying in bed. the baby was rolling around and my cat came up to lay on my side as always. when she started to purr, the baby calmed down to an almost complete stop. it was like he/she liked the purring. well. .. I thought it was sweet so I shared it with a few family members who are still a little upset about the baby and was kinda shot down ... I feel like I cant be excited at all ...

I think it's so adorable, they're bonding already :) screw the family. I know the need to want them and want them to be happy but sadly sometimes family just sucks :( and I'm glad you told us, that's just too cute!

If they don't wanna be supportive then tell them to back off. Just bc they aren't happy about it doesn't mean you can't be! And sometimes it does take until the baby is actually born for others to 'come around'
this is YOUR pregnancy be excited be happy share as many stories with people as you want and if they're not happy with them just quit saying anything to them about it... they'll come around and if they don't your baby don't need them negative people anyways. be happy love.
