When can I start giving my son regular milk? He turns 10 months in 2 days. I bought unsweetened almond milk yesterday so he can try. Would that be okay? I’m lowkey tired of him on formula but I mean he’s still a baby lol.
so my husband wants to feed are baby but the thing is that I will be breastfeeding so idk how it would work. he was thinking that when he wants to feed him he would give him formula but I just want my baby to have breast milk. so then he said why don't you pump your milk out and I'll feed it to him and i thought that would be the best thing but then I'm scared that my baby will get use to the bottle. I need help idk what to do because my husband really wants to feed him :/ and we need to come up with something before are baby is here. can anyone help??
My son turns 1 this Sunday. I have introduced 2% milk as we do not buy whole milk and he was drinking formula still. Well now my boyfriend refuses to buy anymore formula for him now that he is 1. I plan on using whole milk with some vitamins. Do I feed him whole milk the way I would formula? He likes to go to sleep with a bottle and he likes a bottle in the morning. The rest of the day he does pretty good drinking it along with his food. I don’t want to over feed him but I also don’t want to underfeed him. Also how do you store milk in his diaper bag without it getting spoiled? I would have waited to get him off formula until he had his 1 year check up but unfortunately I have no choice but to stop him now (I’m a stay at home mom and have no money)
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
is it wrong of me to be upset my bf works a lot? he works 6 days a week, nights. & on his day off he sleeps all day. i never see him, spend time with him, i’m not intimate with him, nothing. i only get help from him when he’s awake bc he wants to be left alone to sleep which is understandable. he gets mad i complain that he works too much. & i was talking to a girl at my job about it and she said i shouldn’t be mad bc he’s making money & told me who wouldn’t want their man making money? & it’s not even about that it’s the fact i’m a single mom 6 days a week and never spend time w my bf. am i wrong for being upset or should i be happy he’s working a lot?

I didn't know you could get Brewers Yeast in a pill, definitely going back to the Health Food Store for those and Blessed Thistle. I don't want to give up nursing but I don't want my little guy getting so frustrated just to eat. In the hospital he was almost always latched on nursing but within a week of getting home I knew my body wasn't producing enough for him. I have been sick this week and haven't been able to eat or drink much other than broth and water but that's also when I started dropping in milk supply. Before getting sick I was able to pump about 2 ounces every 3 hours, now when I pump it's hardly anything so I tried bumping it to like every 4-5 hours but it got worse...that's where I messed up I guess I should have started pumping more instead of less...sick and sleep deprived are not a good combination when dealing with a very hungry baby...

Try massaging your breasts while you pump. That's what helps me get more out. Also, pump after as many feedings as possible..worked wonders for me.

You have to pump every 2-3 hours to establish a good supply for 15 min even if you are not getting anything keep pumping . You can get Brewers Yeast ( same ingredient in lactation cookies ) . You can get them in pill form and the edible kind you can put in your foods or drinks . I also use a combo of Fenugreek , Blessed Thistle, Mothers Milk Tea , and Brewers Yeast . Drink lots of water and eat healthy lots of oats !

dang. I would just formula feed at that point. That's just my opinion though.
