Formula question... I put 3oz of water in the bottle once I put in the formula it goes up to 3 1/2 ounces does this mean my son is in taking more or is it ok
I think I'm going to do breastfeeding and see how he attaches to me & if not I'm going to put him on breastmilk formula.
Question: I’m breastfeeding & my nips are KILLING ME 😩 I don’t want to put my baby on formula so what can I do to help the pain & soreness 😩
I love breastfeeding but I'm strongly considering putting Gabe on formula. but I want to breastfeed I just don't have the energy.
I've been supplementing some with formula because my baby boy just demands more than what I'm putting out and he seems happier with the formula..my breast milk doesn't seem to satisfy him enough and it seems like he's always hungry unless I give him formula..should I switch to formula only? I thought breast milk was supposed to be best but in his case I'm not so sure ugh idk what to do I just want him to be happy
need suggestions.... So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.

it's okay. it tends to do that because of the powder.... happens to me to. you can also try doing 4 oz and just putting the 1oz away in the frige that way you'll use the 3 oz exact....

I would just give the baby 4 oz to be on the safe side and use two scoops of formula if you put too much water it can be toxic to the baby

@mommypriscilla2015, my pediatrician said if baby wants more food give it to him. My baby was eating 4 oz at 2.5 weeks

My daughter was eating between 2 to 4 oz at that age as well whatever the baby doesn't drink you can throw away

I do 3oz of water 1 1/2 scoops of formula.. If you feed your baby less because you think it's too much my doctor said they can become delayed or cognitivley disabled if he/she is hungry feed her/him it is less likely to give a formula fed baby water intoxication then breast fed babies breast milk is already watered down. Every baby is different. My son is 4 months Eating every 2 hours 3oz and he eats oatmeal sleeps 11pm-6am. Happy smiley healthy baby.

Doctor said it was ok if he could take it. Just burp him a lot.

no that's normal all babies are different. if anything my lo should take more at a time I see 4 month olds eating 6oz. but my lo is eating every 1 hour to 2 hours cuz he's at a growth spurt. Basically u watch for and doctors watch for about 6 wet diapers at least 1 poopy diaper every other day and he's gaining weight if so no problems
