Was in hospital for two days after birth, had three home visits from various midwives & three visits from my health visitor... all failed to mention that my baby has tongue tie!!😑😡 It took one lady to stick her finger in his mouth & after two seconds diagnosed his tie! No wonder breast feeding has been a ballache! Poor little boy! 👶🏼😔

@tamz0569, it's like an extra bit of skin under the tongue that stops it from moving around easily. A lot of babies get it actually :) xx

@babyboots, its an elongated and/or thicker bit of extra skin that keeps your tongue down. Making breast feeding/ latching in general pretty difficult :( xx

my son had tongue tie and they sorted before he was 6 weeks old hope they sort ur liitle boy out soon xx
@jade_17, my first child was tongue tied but they said they wouldn't do anything, fight to get it sorted as he is 8 now and has trouble saying certain words xx
