....what is back labor??? i seen a couple of ppl post about it an i have no idea what it is.

early labor tends to be in the lower back

I had back labor, instead of front pain or feeling bad contractions I just couldn't get comfortable. I was more pressure on my lower back. my favorite position for labor was sitting on the toilet and I felt better when I pushed.

Plus the epidural took all the pain away with back labor

No its just a different type of experience during labor. and it just depends I couldn't hardly feel contractions, which I started having 5 days before. I was joking about thinking I was having them but my dad took me to the hospital and they were real.

I was 4 cm dilated when I finally got submitted. but I was just uncomfortable and had lower back pain and my mom took me when I finally got submitted.

but yes if you feel extremely uncomfortable and just can't get relief go!

Your abdominal muscles have the contractions and you feel the tightening in the front but the pressure is felt in your back. My brother and sons father massaged me putting ALOT of muscle into pressing as hard as they could, cus it HURTS, more than my first, and that was regular labor.

@braylinsmommy, my water had already broken when I was feeling pain in my lower back. you should call your doctor.
