my pit bull was attacked in my fenced in yard yesterday by a dog that jumped my chain link fence. now we have to go talk to the neighbors about paying the $230 vet bill for antibiotics and staples he received. it's crazy because if my dog did that it would hit the freakin news about "another pit bull attack" but when a pit bull is attacked no one gives a shit.. don't need this bill with a baby on the way and christmas next month but had to pay upfront to get him treated at the vet hospital...

Awe I'm sorry. It's sad how just that breed is constantly badgered. Glad it wasn't worse I love pit bulls

OMG EXACTLY ! but pitbulls are "vicious " no ?! Ha I feel u I got 2& you know what they use German Shepards to dog fight as well but they aren't considered vicious !

my pit bull is a big baby and people act like he's gonna bite their head off because he barks like he barks cause he don't know you doesn't mean that he's a mean dog he just wants to be petted

all 4 of mine are the sweetest things! just 10 minutes ago my husband's cousins went and started poking and throwing rocks at the one who does have a temper and they wonder why I get pissed with them, but they have to pay you back if not take it to court and have it reported

@lilanne1927, @fifismommy @gabbii @tylersbaby30 @mamaofangelbaby0610 thanks ladies I knew there were pit bull lovers on here! he's doing better today just limping but it sux bcuz they scar so easily... he is 8 years old and the dog who jumped the fence is a 3 year old Shepard mix which confuses me bcuz a girl dog usually doesn't attack a male like that

@akelly16, Poor dog baby! I'd be so upset! You're so right though, if the situation was reversed your dog would not get off easy or at all! In my old neighborhood my next door neighbors had two pit bulls that used to play with my dachshunds, I hate when people bash on pit bulls!

exactly. I'm always terrified because my brindle, Kali, doesn't like new dogs. heck, she still tries to go for the neighbors' stupid schunazers and we've lived here for over 2 years. I'm always worried because I have two pit mixes, that someone will try something. really though, I'm lucky because my neighbors with the schunazers are actually really cool about it and neighbors across the street have two pits, too.
